Professor Hongsoo Choi’s research team won a ‘2021 National Convergence Research of Scientific Challenges Project’ supported by the Ministry of Science and ICT. This project is an innovative project to solve scientific difficulties in a challenging and innovative way through convergence research between basic science and basic engineering. Prof. Hongsoo Choi’s Center for Targeted Neural Network​s Reconstruction (CTNR) aims to develop a technology for overcoming intractable neurological diseases by building a neural network reconstruction platform based on multi-sequential magnetic nanorobots and restoring neural circuits. The research center is supported with a research grant of KRW 9 billion for five years.
