Mr. Jihoo Kwak (alumni) and Prof. Oh in Motion Control Lab. developed a novel body weight support system using Series Elastic Actuator (SEA) which can provide active assistive force during walking. Thanks to the newly developed actuator system and control algorithm, a patient can perform walking exercise without feeling physical constraints while being supported by the series elastic actuators.
